Kenya: M-RAP hit IED in Banane

According to the local police office’s statement, a GSU officer has been injured. In contrast, several others escaped unhurt after a suspected IED hit their Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected (M-RAP) vehicle in Banane, Garissa. The incident happened approximately two kilometers from Banane Centre in Damajale, some 80 kilometers from Liboi police station. The officers were on their way to Hargadera to pick up officers who had been off-duty when the incident occurred.
