What happened

The Nigerian Army reported that five Islamic State of the West African Province (ISWAP) fighters were killed during an aggressive clearance operation in Yobe State, where one soldier was also reportedly killed. The troops of 27 Task Force Battalion, Sector 2 Operation Hadin Kai, naturalized the terrorists during a gun battle at Mulumti General Area of Buni Gari, while many were said to have escaped with gunshot wounds.
