Studsvik signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Finland’s Fortum for a new Nuclear Power Plant

The agreement with the Swedish provider of nuclear technical services Studsvik initiates a process with the aim of assessing the potential to construct new nuclear at the Nyköping site. This site is in a strategic location and houses the company’s broad expertise in nuclear technology. This agreement is part of the plan to move the country toward the green transition and thus toward fossil-free, renewable, and efficient electricity so the partership with Fortum is very important to investigate the possibility of building a new nuclear power plant in Sweden.
