The municipality of Civita D’Antino has decided to activate the protocol that provides for the closure and disinfection of school buildings and to arrange for the opening of the Municipal Emergency Operations Center after a case of yellow fever was identified. Yellow fever is a severe hemorrhagic viral disease that is usually transmitted by the bites of aedes mosquitoes. The most common symptoms are fever, vomiting, diarrhea, and bone pain.
