The US Marine Corps completed the first test flight of its new XQ-58A Valkyrie, a highly autonomous, low-cost tactical unmanned air vehicle. The test was part of the Marine Corps Penetrating Affordable Autonomous Collaborative Killer – Portfolio (PAACK-P) program.
The Marine Corps worked with the Office of the Under Secretary of Defence for Research and Engineering [OUSD(R&E)], Naval Air Systems Command and the Naval Air Warfare Centre Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) to facilitate the ongoing research, development, test and evaluation of the Marine Corps XQ-58A Valkyrie.
