The Second International Nuclear Technology Application Industry Development Forum commenced in Suzhou, Jiangsu province, with a primary focus on the utilization of nuclear technologies within the medical sector. Organized by the China Isotope and Radiation Association, this two-day event, themed “Empowering Nuclear Technology to Build a Better Future Together,” has drawn over 400 participants from nine different countries, including various international organizations.
Notable attendees comprise representatives from the China Atomic Energy Authority, the International Atomic Energy Agency, and the International Irradiation Association. The forum will consist of four seminars addressing a wide array of topics, including nuclear technology’s role in tumor treatment research and application, as well as advancements in radiation processing technology.
