A factory explosion in a golf ball factory in Taiwan occurred, resulting in a tragic loss of 10 lives, including four firefighters, and leaving nearly 100 people injured as of Sunday afternoon, as reported by media sources on the island.
Upon receiving the fire report on Friday, local firefighters promptly responded to the scene. However, because the factory contained peroxides, traditional water-based firefighting methods were ineffective. Tragically, an explosion occurred shortly after firefighters entered the site, leading to a significant number of casualties.
