What happened

According to national military forces, Fourteen Kenyan soldiers were injured when their military vehicle struck an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) along the Baure-Drum major supply route in Lamu County. The devastating incident has once again brought to light the ongoing threat posed by al Shabaab terrorists operating within the Boni Forest.
