Israel Defence Forces (IDF) unveiled its 5th generation tank called Barack, Hebrew for Lightning, a Merkava Mark V. Developed by IDF, Ministry of Defence and other israeli defence companies, Barack is equipped with AI capabilities and advanced features.
The Ministry stated that the Barak tanks are equipped with sensors to detect targets and that intelligence information can be shared between the tank and other parts of the armed forces, revolutionising the battlefield.
