What happened

According to the African Union peacekeeping force, 11 Somali government soldiers were killed and three others injured in a roadside explosion targeting a convoy of military vehicles between the towns of Luuq and Doolow. The al-Shabab militant group claimed responsibility for the roadside explosion.
