According to the WHO “Weekly Bulletin on Outbreaks and other Emergencies” (Week 34: 21 – 27 August 2023), a total of 609 cases of Cholera with nine deaths (CFR 1.5%) have been reported from four provinces (Bujumbura Mairie, Cibitoke, Bujumbura and Bubanza).
