What happened

Aluminum phosphide is frequently employed in Tunisian agricultural regions to safeguard wheat grains against pests. This potent rodenticide is notorious for its high fatality rate. It hinders mitochondrial cytochrome oxidase activity, resulting in cellular hypoxia. The Authors present a Case Report on a tragic instance of aluminum phosphide poisoning, showcasing an electrocardiogram pattern reminiscent of Brugada Syndrome, in a 14-year-old girl ingested a quarter tablet of aluminium phosphide after a conflict with a classmate.
