What happened

The Egyptian Nuclear and Radiological Regulatory Authority (ENRRA) conducted an extensive examination at the El Dabaa location on July 30-31 to assess the preparedness for starting the construction of unit 4. Additionally, they took into account the outcomes of the discussions regarding the assessment of the first, second, and third units. ENRRA stated that they confirmed the safety of the fourth unit of the Dabaa Nuclear Power Plant and found no evidence of risks to people, the surroundings, or assets.
