What happened

The Ministry of Health is investigating the possibility that the municipal water supply network is the source of a deadly outbreak of the Legionella bacterium. Legionella bacteria in fact has hit the southeastern city and 5 deaths have been reported. The bacterium can cause Legionnaires disease, a sometimes lethal form of pneumonia. The Ministry has established a strategy for further measures to be taken to extinguish the disease outbreak, which the relevant authorities must implement immediately.
