UK, France and Germany prepare to breach 2015 Iran nuclear deal, by refusing to lift sanctions on Tehran’s missile usage in October as specified in the agreement. The United States, however, withdrew from the agreement in 2018, restoring sanctions against Iran. EU and UK diplomats justified this action by citing Iran’s violation of the agreement (technically called the JCPOA), including sales of drones to Russia for use in the war against Ukraine.
