One dead and four injured following the explosion of a gas canister in Algeria

One person died, and 4 others were injured following the explosion of a gas cylinder. The explosion caused the complete collapse of one house and partial collapse of an adjacent one, as reported by the communication officer at the Civil Protection of Ghardaïa. The Civil Protection Team, along with a specialized Search and Rescue Canine Unit, was dispatched to the scene to rescue the occupants of the severely damaged house.
