What happened

U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) declared Initial Operational Capability for Lockheed Martin’s Dry Combat Submersible (DCS). U.S. Special Operations Forces can travel long distances beneath the ocean’s surface without needing a wetsuit or being exposed to the elements. The DCS’s lock-in/lock-out technology allows special operators to enter and exit the vehicle while remaining completely submerged and undetected. Its design facilitates the transportation of special operations teams to their destination and enables them to reach their desired exit point.
