What happened

Airbus Helicopters and the French Armament General Directorate (DGA) conducted the inaugural test of the unmanned aerial system (UAS) VSR700 in an operational setup aboard a ship at sea. The VSR700 accomplished 80 completely autonomous take-offs and landings from a civilian vessel featuring a helicopter deck, while operating along the Brittany coastline in western France.
