New Russian electronic warfare systems against satellites

Russia has developed an electronic warfare system (EW) with a range of about 36,000 km capable of suppressing spacecraft in geostationary orbit. The source of the agency RIA Novosti has not revealed details about the new system, but noted that the power of its short-range emitters allows not only to suppress, but also to permanently disable the enemy electronics.
