Two soldiers were killed and four others sustained injuries in Katsina, after troops of the 32nd Battalion of the Nigerian Army were ambushed.
An Improvised Explosive Device (IED) detonated against an armoured military vehicle while it was escorting local businessmen in the village of Gurbi. Immediately after the explosion, the vehicle was attacked by an armed group.
