What happened

The European Centre for Disaster Medicine (ECDM/CEMEC) contributed to the delivery of the “CBRNe for Healthcare Professionals” course, which was hosted in al-Ê¿Ayn, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The course was attended by 20 participants and overseen by three expert instructors. The programme focused on Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear and Explosive (CBRNe) threats, with the overarching objective being to equip healthcare professionals with the requisite skills, tools and mental readiness to effectively manage complex emergency scenarios in a collaborative global disaster medicine context.
