Nonwovenn, a UK company specialising in personal protective solutions and harm reduction clothing, is investing £1.5 million in its ProTech division. The investment will focus on the research and development of next-generation CBRN equipment for first responders and the military, such as advanced firefighter protection systems focused on volatile organic compound (VOC) filtration. Nonwoven is working closely with Ministries of Defence and first responders around the world to combine its advanced technology with real-world application knowledge to set new standards in personal protection and harm reduction. The investment is part of a long-term growth strategy, with the business unit targeting a turnover of £16 million by 2028.
