According to the WHO “Weekly Bulletin on Outbreaks and other Emergencies” (Week 39: 19 – 25 September 2022), on 24 January 2022, a case of Yellow Fever tested positive by seroneutralization at the “Institut Pasteur” in Dakar. The patient was a 42-year-old male from the Ogooué Maritime Province in Gabon. He was reportedly not vaccinated against yellow fever. He presented with jaundice on 17 September 2021 and died on 23 September 2021 in Port Gentil.
No other confirmed cases have been reported so far.
