The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has carried out airstrikes on a terrorist enclave north of Chiralia, killing several fighters and destroying three gun trucks. The Deputy NAF spokesman, Group Captain Kabiru Ali, said the airstrikes took place over the weekend and were based on intelligence from ground troops. Upon arrival in the target area, fighter jets identified multiple terrorists with gun trucks and engaged them, launching rockets and obliterating two vehicles. Another gun truck was destroyed in a follow-up strike. Many terrorists were killed, including those attempting to flee the scene. Ali said that the NAF remains resolute in its counterterrorism effort, dismantling terrorist networks and ensuring security and stability across the North-East.
