Leaking methane gas near Florence

A substantial methane gas leak from a medium pressure distribution cabin was reported in the municipality of Dicomano in the province of Florence. The local firefighters, operating under their territorial jurisdiction, intervened at the scene and secured the area, while the operator’s staff closed one of the interception valves. Following the isolation and subsequent containment of the gas flow, the restoration process commenced, leading to the recovery of the affected area to its pre-disaster condition without any recorded damage to property or human life.
