During a series of searches conducted in Civita Castellana, located within the province of Viterbo, Italy, the Carabinieri of the provincial command of Viterbo discovered and seized weapons and explosive materials within a private residence. Specifically, the inspections led to the identification of a concealed, unregistered 22-caliber pistol located in a hidden compartment in the kitchen, as well as two small homemade explosive devices (HME) and a machete. As a result of this law enforcement action, a 31-year-old individual and a 50-year-old individual, both of Tunisian origin, were taken into custody and charged with the unlawful possession of a firearm and explosives. Furthermore, a 28-year-old Tunisian national was apprehended for resisting arrest and assaulting a public official. This information was released by ANSA sources.
