The Cambodian National Center for Parasitology, Entomology and Malaria Control (CNM) has developed recorded messages in the eight most common ethnic languages to encourage lasting behavioral changes to counter the spread of malaria. The notes are broadcast via loudspeakers throughout high-risk villages, with the lyrics of popular songs replaced by new ones containing messages about malaria printed on booklets and distributed to villagers.
