As reported by The Libyan Observer website, the director of Libyan military intelligence, Maj. Gen. Mahmoud Hamza, engaged in discourse on several issues during his visit to Spain on Friday, 14 February in Madrid. The most salient of these issues was the fight against terrorism and organised crime. The meeting between Hamza and his Spanish counterpart, the Director of Military Intelligence, Lt. Gen. Antonio Losada, focused on anti-terrorist activities and training, as well as on efforts to combat organised crime and drug trafficking, to enhance security cooperation between the two nations, as stated in a statement issued by the Chief of Staff.
