Security Forces eliminate 18 terrorists in Syria and Iraq

Turkish security forces have eliminated 18 terrorists in northern Syria and Iraq within a few days, according to Defence Minister Hulusi Akar. The Minister underlined Turkey’s fight against terrorism and said that the fight against terrorism will continue with determination. Akar also pointed out that members of the terrorist organisation are increasingly on the run and underlined the efforts of the Turkish Armed Forces (TSK) to protect the country’s borders and people. The PKK, designated as a terrorist organization by Turkey, the USA, and the EU, has been responsible for over 40,000 deaths, including women, children, and infants, during its 40-year-long terrorist campaign against the country.
