Pakistan: 2 cops killed in terrorist attack outside Mosque in Kohat

Two policemen were killed when terrorists opened fire outside a mosque in the Tapi area of Kohat. The police officers were providing security at the mosque during Taraweeh prayers when the incident occurred. Following the attack, the police promptly cordoned off the area and launched a search operation to catch the attackers. According to officials, the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) has intensified attacks against police in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the border areas with Afghanistan since talks with the terrorist group broke down in November 2022.
