Iranian ‘terrorists’ killed four soldiers in second attack in three months, Pakistan army says

What happened

Pakistan stated that four of its soldiers near the border with Iran in the south-western province of Balochistan were killed by a ‘terrorist group’ from Iranian territory, the second such attack in less than three months. The Pakistani army said it had informed Iran about the attack in the hope of ‘preventing similar incidents in the future’. Pakistani Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah condemned the attack, for which no group has currently claimed responsibility.
