At the ‘Cardano’ Institute in Milan, Italy, five students, aged between 14 and 15, required medical attention after inhaling a noxious substance in a classroom. The incident demanded prompt intervention from medical personnel, law enforcement, and fire services, with the assistance of the CBRN (Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear) unit. A total of nine students exhibited symptoms of intoxication, including burning sensations in the nose, throat, and eyes. All affected students were rescued by medical personnel and exhibited stable vital signs, with no requirement for transportation to the emergency room for further evaluation.
