RAI HQ, asbestos levels above the limit

In the aftermath of the notification issued by ASL Roma 1 pertaining to the presence of asbestos exceeding permissible limits at the headquarters of the Italian radio and television corporation RAI, the company’s senior management has elected to implement a remote working framework for its workforce. This resolution, undertaken as a precautionary measure, is intended to safeguard the well-being of its personnel. As outlined in a statement by CEO Giampaolo Rossi, RAI has adopted this measure subsequent to implementing comprehensive safety procedures in the workplace and conducting daily monitoring of infrastructure in collaboration with the relevant authorities. The company will also initiate the process of reconnaissance of all available spaces at other company premises with a view to transferring all resources dedicated to essential activities that, by their nature, cannot be carried out in remote working mode.
