A substantial conflagration has occurred in an industrial warehouse in the municipality of Sperone, in the province of Avellino, Italy. Four teams of firefighters from Avellino are currently engaged in extinguishing the blaze, with two additional teams from the Naples command arriving to provide assistance. Concerns have been raised regarding the potential for airborne pollutants, prompting the involvement of technicians from the Regional Environmental Agency (ARPAC) and the Prevention Department of the Local Health Authority (ASL). There are no reported casualties. The cause of the fire is as yet undetermined.
