Explosion outside police building in Berlin

Two German policemen were injured in an explosion in Berlin, near a police building fence in the Wittenau district of the northern area of the German capital. Official sources claim that the two wounded officers were on a “routine security” patrol. According to the same source, an unidentified object detonated, seriously injuring an officer’s face and eyes while causing auditory trauma to a colleague. They were both treated.
