HME fails to explode in Nuoro province

A homemade explosive (HME), which did not explode, was planted in the night outside a building in Macomer, Nuoro province, Italy, where two breeding brothers live with their families. One of the two brothers, at the exit from home at dawn, noticed the presence of the HME and immediately called the police. The local police and the Nuoro Carabinieri bomb squad analysed the device and secured the area. The fire brigade also arrived on the scene. Investigations began immediately. No further details have been disclosed at this time.
