A training session was recently held by the European Centre of Disaster Medicine (CEMEC) and the SCH Disaster Medicine Centre at Soonchunhyang University Bucheon Hospital, in Seoul, South Korea. The session was of significant impact, uniting experts and professionals who are dedicated to tackling some of the most critical potential risks of which we are currently aware. This course addressed critical scenarios pertaining to chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, and explosive (CBRNe) threats, integrating theoretical insights with practical, hands-on training exercises, including table-top simulations. Those participating in the course, which included emergency responders and healthcare providers, demonstrated a unified commitment to enhancing preparedness and resilience in the event of disasters or terrorist incidents.
