A quintal of illegal barrels seized in Foggia

In a recent operation conducted by the Carabinieri of the Lucera (Foggia) Company, three individuals were taken into arrest on charges of illicit possession and transportation of explosive devices. The investigative activity resulted in the discovery of approximately one quintal of classified pyrotechnic devices and eight kilos of explosive devices of artisanal manufacture, which are characterised by high dangerousness, inside municipal premises located in the basement of the complex where the Justice of the Peace Offices are situated. The seized explosive material was intended for the illicit sale of fireworks in advance of the forthcoming Christmas celebrations.
