A total of 9,000 illicit fireworks were apprehended by the Italian Guardia di Finanza in the garage of a building in Afragola, located in the province of Naples. The premises had been transformed by a 24-year-old individual into an illicit manufacturing facility for hazardous fireworks. The firecrackers were classified as lethal by the intervening Carabinieri of the Artificieri Nucleus, as their detonation could have posed a significant risk to the structural integrity of the building and the safety of its occupants. The young man was apprehended and formally accused of manufacturing, possessing, and trading explosive materials.
