In response to this outbreak, the Authority has taken immediate action to ensure the safety of the affected staff and their contacts. This has involved implementing a series of prophylactic measures, as well as providing rest and other forms of support. In particular, case management procedures and related health surveillance were implemented to prevent the spread of the disease. According to media reports, the source of the infection was likely a patient who was admitted recently and subsequently discharged. In all cases, the company’s health management system ensured the safety of service provision and monitored case progression.
