Manchester Arena bombing: an investigation holds MI5 to its responsibilities

The conclusion of the investigation into the attack on the Manchester Arena on 22 May 2017 nails MI5: the British internal intelligence service would have lost the possibility of stopping Salman Abedi, author of the attack at the end of the Ariana Grande concert, which caused 22 casualties (plus the suicide bomber) and over 250 injured. Indeed, MI5 underestimated the radicalization of Salman Abedi, the 22-year-old of Libyan origin who blew himself up with a backpack full of explosives at the end of the concert.
