A new alarm was triggered in London after discovering a suspicious package at Euston station. This was shortly after a similar incident had occurred at Gatwick airport the previous day. The critical area was cordoned off by the police, and the station was evacuated as a precautionary measure to allow destroying the package in a controlled explosion carried out by the bomb squad. Once the operation was complete, the police removed cordons, and the station reopened to the public. The nature of the package remains undetermined, and it is currently unclear whether it posed a harmless threat or was, in fact, a genuine danger. As reported by the media, the incident resulted in significant disruptions to the railway service at the station.
