In the second week of November, 222 new cases of SARS-CoV-2 infection were registered in Tuscany. Of these, 156 were confirmed by molecular swabs and 66 by rapid antigen test. The number of positive cases in the region has decreased significantly compared to the previous week, with the current total at 691. The number of hospital admissions has also declined, with a reduction of 19 since the last survey (-14.7%). However, there has been an increase in the number of patients requiring intensive care, rising from four to six (+50%), suggesting a slight rise in serious cases. Most of those currently positive, 581 individuals, are in home isolation. Regarding the mortality rate, five new deaths were recorded over the past week. The deceased included three males and two females, with an average age of 88.6 years.
