What happened

According to data from the Directorate of Health Surveillance, at epidemiological week seven, which covers from February 12 to 18, 2023, dengue cases increased by 42%. The cases of dengue registered this year are concentrated in Huetar Caribe region with 167 cases, in Central East with 109 cases and in Central North with 67 cases. It’s important to indicate that, at March 6th 2023, of a total of six cases of Dengue Serotype 4 are registered.
