What happened

ROSATOM stated that, in Bangladesh, the concreting of the Rooppur’s NPP “Unit 1” outer containment building has been completed in 110 days, 45 days ahead of schedule, and the time saved is the result of the suggestions implemented improving structural building process. Rooppur NPP construction project director reported that this operation allowed installation of the deflector ahead of schedule. It allows the installation of heat exchangers, heat exchanging module casings, and passive heat removal system (PHRS) air ducts.
