According to the Deputy Premier of Sarawak, 6 rabies outbreak cases with 4 deaths were reported in Sarawak. The fatalities were reported in four different districts: Sibu, Kanowit, Siburan, and Bintulu. Thanks to medical intervention two patients were successfully saved, but they suffer from severe disability caused by the viral infection.
