The Italian Ministry of Health has issued three food alert notices concerning three batches of hamburgers produced in Italy (Verona province) and subsequently removed from the market due to a potential microbiological hazard for consumers, namely the presence of salmonella in the meat used for the product. The affected products have already been withdrawn from shops and supermarkets. However, any consumer who has purchased hamburgers from the aforementioned batches is advised to refrain from consuming them and to return them to the point of purchase.
