ROSATOM Director visit in Akkuyu NPP construction site

On 26th September, 2024, ROSATOM D.G. Alexey Likhachev visited Akkuyu NPP in Türkiye to meet the project management to assess advancements in the principal facilities at the plant construction site, examining the state of readiness for starting initial operations of Unit 1, which its building is almost completed and is near to operate. By the end of 2024, one key operation to be accomplished will be the finishing and final testing of the turbine hall with all auxiliary systems put in place and ready to operate, and the priority for ROSATOM is always safety in construction and operating processes.
