GMV won a contract to develop the EU’s GOVSATCOM communications hub

The multinational technology firm GMV has been awarded a key contract by the European Union Agency for the Space Programme (EUSPA) to lead a consortium that will design, develop, and deploy the Communication Hub for the EU’s GOVSATCOM program. The consortium will be composed of European companies, with GMV, Indra, and Hisdesat as the core team that will drive this initiative thanks to their operational knowledge and experience in space systems and communications systems. The GOVSATCOM program will offer secure and cost-effective satellite communication services to authorized government users across EU Member States, and the Communications Hub is a key part of this program, ensuring the delivery of satellite communication services to meet planned and urgent operational needs.
