What happened

A further indigenous case of dengue fever was recorded in Cazzago San Martino, in the province of Brescia. The case allegedly involved a resident with no history of travel abroad. There are currently five indigenous confirmed cases in the Brescia area. A note from the regional health authorities indicates that all infected individuals are currently in stable condition, despite presenting with a range of symptoms consistent with a viral infection, including fever, cephalgia, arthralgia, and vomiting. The local Health Protection Agency has conveyed to the mayor of Cazzago San Martino the pest control measures to be implemented under the National Plan for Arbovirus.
